About Me

I’m Martha Nieset and I’ve fallen in love with introducing moms and kids to the world, showing them other ways that people live, and witnessing the wonder in their eyes when they have an experience outside the “normal” zone.

When my own son and I first traveled internationally alone he was just seven years old. I had left behind a full-time position and was taking the chance to go after a long ignored dream and felt very much on my own in figuring everything out. I wanted him to see life outside our comfortable “bubble”, to see that people are both the same, and different, all over the world, and love and connection is our common language. We built some amazing friendships in that time, had many adventures, and overcame many fears!

It was that experience that birthed this travel business, built especially by one mom traveling solo with her child as a place to make space and bring adventuresome moms and their children together to explore new cultures while traveling amazing places together. 

In the different travel communities I’ve been part of since that time, I have heard from so many moms that want to travel more with their kids but just don’t want to do it alone. Whether you are married, single or somewhere in between, we all run the show solo at one point or another….Is that you?
